Rules and Tricks: The previous player means the player that played his turn before your turn started. You can only move the same amount of tiles, not in the same direction as the last player. Only the amount moved after throwing the move dice (or using an ability) counts.
Trivia: In an older version, Drowzee could disable all opponent's abilities for one turn. This proved much too disruptive.
